hacer caso\u00a0a<\/strong> – to pay attention to. No le hagas caso a este ni\u00f1o porque es muy maleducado<\/em>. (Don’t pay attention to this boy because he’s really rude.)<\/p>\n

hacer da\u00f1o a (alguien)<\/strong> – to hurt\/damage (somebody). No empujes m\u00e1s a tu hermano, que\u00a0le vas a hacer da\u00f1o. \u00a0<\/em>(Stop pushing your brother, you’ll end up hurting him.)<\/p>\n

hacer el papel de<\/strong> – to play the role of. En aquella telenovela, Laura Zapata hizo el papel de mala.<\/em> (In that soap opera, Laura Zapata played the role of an evil woman.)<\/p>\n

hacer pedazos<\/strong> – to smash to pieces. La explosi\u00f3n hizo el coche pedazos<\/em>. (The explosion blew the car to pieces.)<\/p>\n

hacer una pregunta<\/strong> – to ask a question. Voy a hacerte una pregunta.<\/em> (I’m going to ask you a question.)<\/p>\n

hacer un viaje <\/strong>– to take a trip. \u00c9l hizo un viaje a Estados Unidos. <\/em>(He took a trip to the USA.)<\/p>\n

hacer una visita<\/strong> – to pay a visit. Mi directora tuvo un beb\u00e9, as\u00ed que tengo que hacerle una visita.<\/em> (My principal had a baby so I have to pay her a visit.)<\/p>\n
