Synonyms are terms or expressions which have the same or similar meanings and it also entails the study of the contexts in which they occur. I have chosen some very common Spanish words and their synonyms with examples, espero que les guste.<\/p>\n

Abogado <\/strong>\u2013 lawyer<\/p>\n

1.\tletrado <\/strong>\u2013 lawyer. El letrado nos ley\u00f3 la carta. (The lawyer read us the letter.)
\n2.\tabogado <\/strong>\u2013 lawyer, barrister, solicitor. Mi hija quiere ser abogada. (My daughter wants to be a lawyer.)
\n3.\tescribano <\/strong>\u2013 notary. Ese contrato se ha firmado con la presencia del escribano. (This contract was signed in the presence of a notary.)

Agradable <\/strong>\u2013 pleasant, nice<\/p>\n

1.\tdeleitoso <\/strong>\u2013 delightful. Se sentaron en un jard\u00edn deleitoso para tomar un tecito. (They sat in a delightful garden to have a cup of tea.)
\n2.\texquisito <\/strong>\u2013 exquisite. Nos sirvieron un vino exquisito antes de la cena. (They served us an exquisite wine before dinner.)
\n3.\tacogedor <\/strong>\u2013 welcoming, pleasant. Es una familia muy acogedora. (It is a very welcoming family.)
\n4.\tchido <\/strong>(Mexico) \u2013 nice, cool. Tu carro est\u00e1 chido. (Your car is cool.)
\n5.\tguay <\/strong>(Spain) \u2013 nice, cool. La fiesta estuvo muy guay anoche. (The party was very cool last night.)
