Let’s test your listening comprehension and see if you can understand a short audio in Spanish. The transcript to the audio will be given at the end of the post but please try not to look at it until you have tried playing and understanding the audio a few times. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Now play the audio to listen a conversation between two friends. Can you understand what they are saying? Play the audio a few times before you look at the transcript. Don’t worry if you don’t understand every single thing the two people are saying. Try to catch whichever words you can and then try to piece things together to work out what is being said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSam: Voy a ir a un concierto de \u2018Los heavilonguis\u2019.
\nMar\u00eda: \u00bf\u2018Los heavilonguis\u2019? Oh, me encantan.
\nSam: \u00a1Ven conmigo!
\nMar\u00eda: Mmmm, no creo que pueda.
\nSam: Venga. Quiero que vengas.
\nMar\u00eda: Mmmm es que probablemente tenga que trabajar en el bar de mis padres.
\nSam: Haz lo que quieras, pero el concierto seguro que es incre\u00edble.
\nMar\u00eda: Yo quiero ir, pero no creo que mis padres me den la noche libre. Cuando vea a mi madre le preguntar\u00e9.
\nSam: Vale. En cuanto sepas si puedes venir me avisas \u00bfvale?
\nMar\u00eda: Vale. Te llamar\u00e9 aunque tenga que trabajar. Quiz\u00e1 podamos quedar cuando termine el trabajo.
\nSam: Bien. El concierto terminar\u00e1 a las doce de la noche, supongo.
\nMar\u00eda: Perfecto. No creo que salga mucho m\u00e1s tarde de las doce. Si trabajo, les pedir\u00e9 a mis padres que me dejen salir sobre esa hora.
