In this Spanish lesson we are going to practice using Spanish relative pronouns. As usual, first we will review some relevant grammar and vocabulary and then see if you can follow a short listening. <\/p>\n

This lesson is part of a Spanish course that practices the grammar and vocabulary first introduced in my Advanced Spanish course posted here on the Transparent Language blog. Let’s test your listening comprehension and see if you can understand a short audio in Spanish. The transcript to the audio will be given at the end of the post but please try not to look at it until you have tried playing and understanding the audio a few times. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Now play the audio to listen a conversation. Can you understand what is being said? Play the audio a few times before you look at the transcript. Don’t worry if you don’t understand every single thing the two people are saying. Try to catch whichever words you can and then try to piece things together to work out what is being said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nina: Sam \u00bfhas le\u00eddo ya el libro?<\/p>\n

Sam: \u00bfQu\u00e9 libro? <\/p>\n

Nina: El que te dej\u00e9 la semana pasada. \u00bfNo te acuerdas?<\/p>\n

Sam: \u00a1Ahh! Ya me acuerdo. Jo, pues no s\u00e9 d\u00f3nde lo tengo. <\/p>\n

Nina: Lo tendr\u00e1s d\u00f3nde lo dejaste ayer. En tu mochila, me imagino. <\/p>\n

Sam: A ver\u2026 \u00a1Ah pues s\u00ed! Aqu\u00ed est\u00e1. \u00bfC\u00f3mo lo sab\u00edas?<\/p>\n

Nina: Muy f\u00e1cil. Pones en tu mochila todo lo que te dejo. Las revistas que te dej\u00e9 la semana pasada tambi\u00e9n estar\u00e1n en tu mochila, seguro.<\/p>\n

Sam: \u00bfQu\u00e9 revistas? No me dejaste ninguna revista.<\/p>\n

Nina: \u00bfC\u00f3mo que no? \u00bfNo te acuerdas? Las que me pediste para no aburrirte en clase de espa\u00f1ol. <\/p>\n

Sam: \u00a1Ah s\u00ed! Es verdad. \u00a1Qu\u00e9 mala memoria tengo!<\/p>\n

Nina: Pues s\u00ed. Bueno, \u00bfme puedes devolver las revistas ahora? Las necesito. Por lo menos la que tiene a Brad Pitt en la portada. Todav\u00eda no la he le\u00eddo.<\/p>\n

Sam: La que tiene a Brad Pitt\u2026 Esa no la tengo. Se la habr\u00e1s dejado a otra persona, a m\u00ed no.<\/p>\n

Nina: Mmmm Es verdad. Creo que se la dej\u00e9 a mi prima. Se la pedir\u00e9 ma\u00f1ana. \u00bfMe puedes devolver las que tienes? \u00bfY el libro tambi\u00e9n?<\/p>\n
