In this Spanish lesson we are going to practice using Spanish expressions of probability. As usual, first we will review some relevant grammar and vocabulary and then see if you can follow a short listening. <\/p>\n

This lesson is part of a Spanish course that practices the grammar and vocabulary first introduced in my Advanced Spanish course posted here on the Transparent Language blog. Let’s test your listening comprehension and see if you can understand a short audio in Spanish. The transcript to the audio will be given at the end of the post but please try not to look at it until you have tried playing and understanding the audio a few times. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Now play the audio to listen a conversation. Can you understand what is being said? Play the audio a few times before you look at the transcript. Don’t worry if you don’t understand every single thing the two people are saying. Try to catch whichever words you can and then try to piece things together to work out what is being said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mike: \u00a1Hola Sara! \u00bfVas a ir a la clase de franc\u00e9s ma\u00f1ana?<\/p>\n

Sara: A lo mejor voy. Depende de a qu\u00e9 hora llegue mi marido del trabajo. Si viene tarde, me tendr\u00e9 que quedar cuidando a los ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Mike: Seguro que llega pronto \u00bfno? Su oficina est\u00e1 muy cerca de tu casa.<\/p>\n

Sara: S\u00ed, pero \u00faltimamente se est\u00e1 quedando hasta tarde para terminar un proyecto, as\u00ed que tal vez no me d\u00e9 tiempo de ir a la clase de franc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Mike: Ah vale. Pues espero que puedas venir. Vamos a practicar conversaciones en un bar. Seguro que es una clase muy divertida.<\/p>\n

Sara: Seguramente lo sea. Espero poder ir. <\/p>\n

Mike: Despu\u00e9s de la clase vamos a ir al bar de Pierre, mi amigo franc\u00e9s, para practicar con \u00e9l.<\/p>\n

Sara: Ah pues aunque no llegue a la clase quiz\u00e1 vaya al bar cuando llegue mi marido. <\/p>\n

Mike: S\u00ed claro, ven al bar a practicar. Yo seguramente pido algo f\u00e1cil. Una cerveza o algo as\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Sara: Pues yo si voy posiblemente pida algo complicado. Igual pregunto qu\u00e9 c\u00f3cteles tienen, para practicar m\u00e1s franc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Mike: Es buena idea Sara. Yo soy un vago.<\/p>\n

Sara: \u00a1Qu\u00e9 va! Lo que pasa es que te gusta demasiado la cerveza.<\/p>\n

Mike: S\u00ed, a lo mejor tienes raz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Sara: Bueno, ma\u00f1ana nos vemos \u00a1En la clase de franc\u00e9s o en el bar de Pierre!<\/p>\n

Mike: S\u00ed, hasta ma\u00f1ana Sara.<\/p>\n
