These are words in Spanish which have a very similar appearance or sound to an English word, but mean something completely different. Let&#8217;s test your listening comprehension and see if you can understand a short audio in Spanish. Can you understand what is being said? Play the audio a few times before you look at the transcript. Don&#8217;t worry if you don&#8217;t understand every single thing the two people are saying. Est\u00e1s muy morena.<\/p>\n<p>Cristina: S\u00ed, es que he estado de vacaciones en M\u00e1laga.<\/p>\n<p>Ben: \u00bfAh s\u00ed? \u00bfy qu\u00e9 tal te lo has pasado?<\/p>\n<p>Cristina: Genial. La verdad es que solo hice cosas f\u00fatiles, tomar el sol en la playa, ir de compras\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Ben: \u00bfHac\u00eda mucho calor?<\/p>\n<p>Cristina: S\u00ed, much\u00edsimo. El primer d\u00eda hac\u00eda m\u00e1s de cuarenta grados y casi me dio una insolaci\u00f3n. Me mare\u00e9 un poco y tuve que ir al bar para tomar un refresco.<\/p>\n<p>Ben: Es que hay que tener cuidado con el sol Cristina. \u00bfY compraste algo interesante?<\/p>\n<p>Cristina: Pues encontr\u00e9 un mont\u00f3n de gangas. Ropa super barata y zapatos. Me compr\u00e9 much\u00edsimos zapatos, once pares.<\/p>\n<p>Ben: \u00bfOnce pares? \u00a1Qu\u00e9 pasada! \u00bfY c\u00f3mo fuiste? \u00bfEn avi\u00f3n?<\/p>\n<p>Cristina: No, fui en coche. El viaje fue largo pero paramos varias veces para tomar algo. Lo peor fue que en el coche \u00edbamos cinco personas y me molestaba un poco tener tan poco espacio. Fuimos en un Ford Fiesta as\u00ed que imag\u00ednate, est\u00e1bamos un poco justos de espacio. \u00bfY t\u00fa que has hecho este verano?<\/p>\n<p>Ben: Pues no mucho. D\u00e9jame pensar, a ver si recuerdo\u2026 Ver el f\u00fatbol y poco m\u00e1s. No he ido nada a la playa.
