In this Spanish lesson we are going to look at the uses of the Spanish word Poco. As usual, first we will review some relevant grammar and vocabulary and then see if you can follow a short listening. <\/p>\n

Let’s test your listening comprehension and see if you can understand a short audio in Spanish. Silvia: Hola Will \u00a1Qu\u00e9 mala cara tienes! Pareces un poco cansado.
\nWill: S\u00ed, es que he dormido poco.
\nSilvia: Estuviste trabajando hasta tarde \u00bfno? Tienes que trabajar menos y relajarte m\u00e1s.
\nWill: Ya, tienes raz\u00f3n. Pero es que tengo mucho trabajo.
\nSilvia: Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1s m\u00e1s delgado. \u00bfYa comes?
\nWill: S\u00ed, bueno. La verdad es que tengo poca comida en casa y tengo poco tiempo para ir al supermercado.
\nSilvia: \u00a1Pero Will por favor! \u00a1Si sigues as\u00ed te vas a quedar en el chasis! A ver, ya voy yo al supermercado y te compro comida esta tarde. \u00bfQu\u00e9 necesitas?
\nWill: Muchas gracias Silvia. Pero no hace falta, de verdad.
\nSilvia: Que s\u00ed hombre que s\u00ed. Voy a ir de todas formas para comprar unas pocas verduras para m\u00ed, as\u00ed que no me importa comprar algo para ti.
\nWill: Bueno vale, pero te doy el dinero ahora.
\nSilvia: S\u00ed, vale. Dime qu\u00e9 necesitas.
\nWill: A ver, en casa tengo\u2026 un poco de leche, un poco de pan\u2026
\nSilvia: \u00bfVerduras y frutas?
\nWill: Pocas, la verdad.

\nWill: Emmm, ninguna.
