Los refranes<\/em> are folkloric sentences that carry ideological values and the way people think. They are, therefore, ways of expressing culture and play a moralizing role in society. 5. Pan con pan, comida de tontos.<\/strong> – If you eat only bread, you’re stupid. En una fiesta no debe haber s\u00f3lo hombres o s\u00f3lo mujeres.<\/em><\/p>\n

6. Quien siembra vientos recoge tempestades. <\/strong>– The one who sows winds will reap storms. El que hace el mal tendr\u00e1 contra s\u00ed mismo las consecuencias de sus actos.<\/em><\/p>\n

7. Sobre gustos no hay nada escritos.<\/strong> – There’s nothing written about tastes. Los gustos personales deben ser respetados.<\/em><\/p>\n

8. \u00c9ramos pocos y pari\u00f3 la abuela. <\/strong>– There were a lot of us already and grandma gave birth to another one. Hay situaciones malas a las que se viene a sumar otra tan mala o peor.<\/em><\/p>\n
