First we will learn some relevant vocabulary and then see if you can follow a short audio conversation in Spanish. Tormentas de nieve, ventiscas, inundaciones&#8230; Han muerto varias personas.<br \/>\nJason: \u00a1Qu\u00e9 mal! El clima en El Reino Unido es mal\u00edsimo. Los veranos son tan cortos.<br \/>\nAmelia: Supongo que por eso est\u00e1s aqu\u00ed, viviendo en Espa\u00f1a.<br \/>\nJason: Es una de las razones. Pero Espa\u00f1a tampoco es perfecta. Para m\u00ed hace demasiado calor aqu\u00ed.<br \/>\nAmelia: Con tu piel tienes que tener cuidado con el sol, para no quemarte.<br \/>\nJason: Espa\u00f1a tambi\u00e9n tiene problemas con los desastres naturales. Viv\u00ed en Murcia y en 2011 hubo un terremoto bastante fuerte all\u00ed. Fue aterrador.<br \/>\nAmelia: Tenemos muchos incendios forestales todos los a\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n en toda Espa\u00f1a.<br \/>\nJason: \u00bfEspa\u00f1a tiene volcanes activos? \u00bfO el Etna es el m\u00e1s cercano?<br \/>\nAmelia: Hay algunos en Canarias. Creo que la erupci\u00f3n m\u00e1s reciente fue la del Tenegu\u00eda en La Palma.<br \/>\nJason: Estuve en la India en 2019.Y pude experimentar lo que es el clima monz\u00f3nico. Es muy duro.<br \/>\nAmelia: Yo he vivido huracanes y tornados, pero nada demasiado extremo.<br \/>\nJason: Pues yo una vez vi a un hombre que le alcanz\u00f3 un rayo mientras jugaba al golf.<br \/>\nAmelia: \u00bfQu\u00e9 dices? Eso es horrible. El desastre natural m\u00e1s incre\u00edble y terrible que he presenciado, aunque por televisi\u00f3n, fue el Tsunami de Jap\u00f3n de 2011. \u00bfLo recuerdas?<br \/>\nJason: Por supuesto. Fue horrendo.<br \/>\nAmelia: La gente debi\u00f3 de estar aterrorizada.<br \/>\nJason: Pobres.<br \/>\nAmelia: Y el tsunami de 2004 que afect\u00f3 a Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India y Tailandia fue a\u00fan peor en t\u00e9rminos de la cantidad de personas que murieron.
