Start by reading the text in Spanish below. The English translation is provided later but please try not to look at it until you have read the Spanish version various times and tried your best to understand it.<\/p>\n<p>There may be some words and phrases in the text that you are unfamiliar with, but you should be aiming to capture the main essence of what is happening. En agosto y julio por lo menos hace demasiado calor para mi gusto.<br \/>\nAntonio: Julio y agosto son mis meses favoritos.<br \/>\nPaz: A m\u00ed me gusta el invierno.<br \/>\nAntonio: El invierno, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9?<br \/>\nPaz: No me gusta mucho el calor. This heat revitalizes my body.<br \/>\nPaz: I don\u2019t know. It seems to me that it\u2019s too hot right now. In August and July at least it\u2019s too hot for my taste.<br \/>\nAntonio: July and August are my favourite months.<br \/>\nPaz: I like winter.<br \/>\nAntonio: Winter, why?<br \/>\nPaz: I don\u2019t like the heat very much. And I also think that winter is very beautiful. The frost in the morning, snow\u2026<br \/>\nAntonio: Why do you live in Spain, Paz? Have you ever thought about going to another country in the north?<br \/>\nPaz: Well, no. I like Spain. Here you live very well. I don\u2019t like days when it is forty degrees. But I can put up with it.<br \/>\nAntonio: I don\u2019t like the drastic changes in Madrid. The truth is that I have thought several times about the possibility of living in another warmer country. I don\u2019t like the months of winter or autumn: October, November, December, January, February and March. It\u2019s very cold here in Madrid.<br \/>\nPaz: Yes, it\u2019s true.
