Let’s review some means of transportation en espa\u00f1ol<\/em>, shall we? The preposition used with most means of transportation in Spanish is en <\/strong>and there is also some cases with the preposition a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

el avi\u00f3n<\/em> – plane
\nen<\/strong> avi\u00f3n <\/em>– by plane<\/p>\n

la bicicleta, la bici<\/em> – bicycle
\nen<\/strong> bicicleta, en<\/strong> bici<\/em> – by bicycle<\/p>\n

el barco<\/em> – boat
\nen<\/strong> barco <\/em>– by boat<\/p>\n

el bus, el autob\u00fas<\/em> – bus
\nen<\/strong> bus, en<\/strong> autob\u00fas<\/em> – by bus<\/p>\n

Note: The bus has several different names in Latin American Spanish: liebre <\/em>(small bus – Chile), cami\u00f3n <\/em>(Mexico), colectivo <\/em>(Argentina), among others. When in doubt, use bus <\/em>or autob\u00fas<\/em><\/p>\n
