The list below shows the relation between proximity and distance.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ac\u00e1 \u2013 aqu\u00ed \/ all\u00e1 \u2013 all\u00ed<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. <em>aqu\u00ed \u2013 ac\u00e1<\/em> \u2013 It means \u201chere\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>Aqu\u00ed est\u00e1n las entradas para el cine. <\/em>(Here are the tickets to the movies.)<\/p>\n<p><em>Ac\u00e1 <\/em>indicates a less specific place than <em>aqu\u00ed<\/em>. Because of this, it takes certain degrees of comparison that are not common when we use <em>aqu\u00ed<\/em>: <em>tan ac\u00e1, m\u00e1s ac\u00e1, muy ac\u00e1.<\/em> In some Latin American countries, <em>ac\u00e1<\/em> replaces <em>aqu\u00ed<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ac\u00e1 hace mucho fr\u00edo en el invierno. <\/em>(Here it\u2019s very cold in the winter.)<\/p>\n<p>2. <em>all\u00ed \u2013 all\u00e1<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>All\u00ed <\/em>means \u201cin that place\u201d, \u201cthere\u201d, \u201cfar from me and from you\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>All\u00ed el clima siempre es muy malo.<\/em> (The weather is always bad there.)<\/p>\n<p>3. <em>All\u00e1 <\/em>indicates a less specific place than all\u00ed.
