We all want to give our opinion about something and sometimes people ask us for advice, so today I’m going to show you a very interesting way of expressing this: Yo que t\u00fa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Yo que t\u00fa<\/strong> means “if I were you” and it can be used with other pronouns too. Check out some examples:<\/p>\n

Yo que t\u00fa le dir\u00eda que me gusta mucho, que quieres que salgan juntos.<\/em>
\nIf I were you I’d tell him you like him a lot, that you want you guys to go out together.<\/p>\n

Yo que Ana no le volver\u00eda a hablar jam\u00e1s.<\/em>
\nIf I were Ana I’d never talk to him again.<\/p>\n

Yo que ustedes me ir\u00eda este fin de semana a la playa a descansar.<\/em>
\nIf I were you guys I’d go to the beach to rest this weekend.<\/p>\n

Yo que la profesora ya me habr\u00eda desesperado.<\/em>
\nIf I were the teacher I’d have been desperate by now.<\/p>\n

Yo que usted eleg\u00edria el m\u00e1s barato. Son pr\u00e1cticamente iguales y cuesta la mitad.<\/em>
\nIf I were you (formal) I’d buy the cheaper one. Thy’re practically the same and it costs half the price.<\/p>\n

Yo que Sara y Antonio habr\u00eda ido a Espa\u00f1a. Es m\u00e1s interesante.<\/em>
\nIf I were Sara and Antonio I’d have gone to Spain. It’s more interesting.<\/p>\n

Yo que t\u00fa le habr\u00eda dicho que s\u00ed, que tambi\u00e9n a m\u00ed…<\/em>
\nIf I were you I’d have said yes, that me too…<\/p>\n
