Let&#8217;s refresh your memory!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>en <\/strong>coche<\/em> &#8211; by car<br \/>\n<em><strong>en <\/strong>\u00f3mnibus\/autob\u00fas<\/em>\u00a0&#8211; by bus<br \/>\n<em><strong>en <\/strong>bicicleta<\/em> &#8211; by bicycle<br \/>\n<em><strong>en <\/strong>barco\/nav\u00edo<\/em> &#8211; by ship<br \/>\n<em><strong>en <\/strong>avi\u00f3n<\/em> &#8211; by plane<br \/>\n<em><strong>a<\/strong> pie<\/em> &#8211; on foot<br \/>\n<em><strong>a <\/strong>caballo <\/em>&#8211; on horseback<\/p>\n<p>Now I&#8217;m going to give you some pairs of sentences so that you&#8217;ll see that these means of transportation are used with other prepositions too. Check them out.<\/p>\n<p><em>Sali\u00f3 <strong>en <\/strong>su coche.<\/em> (He went out <strong>by <\/strong>car.)<br \/>\n<em>Sali\u00f3 <strong>de <\/strong>su coche.<\/em> (He got out <strong>of <\/strong>his car.)<\/p>\n<p><em>Juan se acercaba a la chica <strong>en <\/strong>su moto. <\/em>(Juan approached the girl <strong>by <\/strong>motorcycle.)<br \/>\n<em>Juan se acercaba a la moto <strong>con <\/strong>la chica.<\/em> (Juan approached the motorcycle <strong>with <\/strong>his girl &#8211; they were <strong>together<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n<p><em>Vengo <strong>del <\/strong>barco.<\/em> (I&#8217;m coming <strong>from the<\/strong> boat.)<br \/>\n<em>Vengo <strong>en <\/strong>barco.<\/em> (I&#8217;m coming <strong>by <\/strong>boat.)<\/p>\n<p><em>Fuimos <strong>a <\/strong>caballo hasta la ciudade.<\/em> (We went to the city <strong>on\u00a0<\/strong>horseback.)<br \/>\n<em>Fuimos <strong>por <\/strong>el caballo hasta la ciudad.<\/em> (We went to the city <strong>to get<\/strong> the horse.)<\/p>\n<p><em>Cruzaremos la frontera <strong>en <\/strong>bicicleta.<\/em> (We will cross the border by bicycle.)<br \/>\n<em>Quieres cruzar la frontera <strong>con <\/strong>la bicicleta pero ya tienes mucho equipaje.<\/em> (You want to cross the border <strong>carrying\/with<\/strong> your bicycle but you have too much luggage already.)<\/p>\n<p>Prepositions are indeed tricky so I suggest you pay attention to how they&#8217;re used and try to understand and emulate the examples.<\/p>\n<p>See you next time!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi, there!
