We&#8217;ve all had a bad time during rush hour and today we&#8217;re going to learn how to speak about this en espa\u00f1ol, \u00bfde acuerdo?<\/p>\n<p>So first check out this little dialog between two friends stuck in traffic.<\/p>\n<p>A: <em>Odio conducir cuando el tr\u00e1nsito est\u00e1 congestionado.<\/em> (I hate driving in such heavy traffic.)<br \/>\nB: <em>Yo tambi\u00e9n, pero es siempre igual a la hora pico.<\/em> (Me too, but it&#8217;s always like this in rush hour.)<br \/>\nA: <em>\u00bfY si tomamos una calle lateral? Tal vez haya menos tr\u00e1nsito.<\/em> (What if we go through a side street? Maybe traffic will be lighter.)<br \/>\nB: <em>S\u00ed, creo que vale la pena probar. \u00bfConoces alg\u00fan atajo?<\/em> (Yeah, I think it&#8217;s worth trying. Do you know of any shortcuts?)<br \/>\nA: <em>Me parece que s\u00ed. Doblamos a la derecha en la pr\u00f3xima esquina.<\/em> (I think so. Let&#8217;s turn right on the next corner.)<\/p>\n<p>Here are some more useful sentences.<\/p>\n<p><em>El tr\u00e1nsito en la avenida principal est\u00e1 congestionado.<\/em><br \/>\nThe traffic on the main avenue is jammed.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hay un embotellamiento monumental.<\/em><br \/>\nThere&#8217;s a juge traffic jam.<\/p>\n<p><em>Siempre hay mucho tr\u00e1nsito en la hora pico.<\/em><br \/>\nTraffic is always heavy during rush hour.<\/p>\n<p><em>Perdona el atraso, pero el tr\u00e1nsito estaba parado.<\/em><br \/>\nSorry for the delay, I was stuck in traffic.<\/p>\n<p><em>Si salimos m\u00e1s temprano evitamos la hora pico.<\/em><br \/>\nIf we leave earlier we&#8217;ll beat the rush hour.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00bfConoces alg\u00fan atajo?<\/em><br \/>\nDo you know any short cuts?<\/p>\n<p><em>Un choque insignificante provoc\u00f3 un embotellamiento descomunal esta ma\u00f1ana.<\/em><br \/>\nA fender-bender caused a huge traffic jam this morning.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hubo un choque m\u00faltiple \/ en cadena.<\/em><br \/>\nThere has been a pile-up.<\/p>\n<p><em>Nos vemos prontito.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ah, the traffic!
