Some days ago a friend invited me to spend New Year&#8217;s Eve at a party in a city nearby and I told him, &#8220;I&#8217;ll sleep on it&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As it turns out, I started thinking how to say that in Spanish and I came up with an answer (if you have more options, please let me know): <strong>consultarlo con la almohada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This means that you&#8217;re going to consult it with the pillow, really &#8220;sleeping on it&#8221;. Here are some examples:<\/p>\n<p>Yo que t\u00fa no me apurar\u00eda. Cons\u00faltalo con la alhomada.<br \/>\n<em>If I were you I wouldn&#8217;t hurry. Sleep on it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Es un proyecto muy grande, mejor lo consultes con la almohada antes de tomar tu decisi\u00f3n.<br \/>\n<em>That&#8217;s a very big project, you&#8217;d better sleep on it before making your decision.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tras consultarlo con la almohada llegu\u00e9 a la conclusi\u00f3n de que no quiero hacerlo.<br \/>\n<em>After sleeping on it I came to the conclusion that I don&#8217;t want to do it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So, have you been <em>consult\u00e1ndolo con tu almohada<\/em> about something lately?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Want more free resources to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.transparent.com\/learn-spanish\/\">learn Spanish<\/a>?
