Today we are going to take a look at the verb tense Futuro Perfecto de Indicativo<\/strong>. Adir, what the heck is that? Ac\u00e1lmate<\/em> that I’m going to explain.<\/p>\n

First of all, it’s a future tense (you probably know that already!). Now, we call it perfect because it is made up of auxiliary verb haber<\/em> (in the future) and the past participle of the main verb.<\/p>\n

Let me make it easier for you:<\/p>\n

Yo habr\u00e9<\/strong> amado = I will have<\/strong> loved
\nT\u00fa habr\u00e1s<\/strong> hablado = You will have<\/strong> spoken [singular]
\n\u00c9l habr\u00e1<\/strong> hecho = He will have<\/strong> done
\nNosotros habremos<\/strong> salido = We will have<\/strong> left
\nVosotros habr\u00e9is<\/strong> llamado = You will have<\/strong> called [plural]
\nEllos habr\u00e1n<\/strong> comido = They will have<\/strong> eaten<\/p>\n

Check out the following examples:<\/p>\n

Yo habr\u00e9 hablado<\/strong> con \u00e9l cuando llegues.
\nI will have spoken with him when you arrive.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00bfYa habr\u00e1s le\u00eddo<\/strong> el libro antes de las vacaciones?
\nWill you have read the book before your vacation?<\/em><\/p>\n

El alcalde habr\u00e1 conclu\u00eddo<\/strong> la construcci\u00f3n de autopistas cuando cese su mandato.
\nThe mayor will have finished the construction of highways when his term of office ends.<\/em><\/p>\n

Cuando mi equipo venza, nosotros ya habremos elegido<\/strong> ad\u00f3nde ir a celebrar.
\nWhen my team wins, we will already have chosen where to go celebrate.<\/em><\/p>\n

Para los pr\u00f3ximos ex\u00e1manes de Matem\u00e1ticas, vosotros ya habr\u00e9is entendido<\/strong> las ecuaciones de seg\u00fan grado.
\nFor the next Math exams, you [plural] will already have understood the quadratic equations.<\/em><\/p>\n

Para mediados del mes que viene, los diputados habr\u00e1n aprobado<\/strong> la nueva ley.
\nBy next month, the congressmen will have passed the new law.<\/em><\/p>\n

Exercise! Complete the following sentences with the Futuro Perfect form of the verbs in parentheses.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 Juli\u00e1n no\u00a0… a cenar? (venir)
\nI wonder why Juli\u00e1n hasn’t come to dinner.<\/em><\/p>\n

En pocos minutos (t\u00fa) … el examen.(terminar)
\nIn a few minutes you will have finished your test.<\/em><\/p>\n

Cuando lleguemos al cine la pel\u00edcula ya … (empezar).
\nWhen we get to the theater the movie will have already started.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00bf(Ellos) … despu\u00e9s del almuerzo? (ir)
\nWill they have gone after lunch?<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00bf(Yo) … bien los ejercicios del examen? (hacer)
\nI wonder if I have done the test exercises well.<\/em><\/p>\n

En algunos meses (nosotros) … el proyecto. (finalizar)
\nIn a few months we will have finished the project.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ma\u00f1ana (vosotros) … de todo lo que pas\u00f3 hoy. (olvidarse)
\nTomorrow you will have forgotton about everything that happened today.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00bfQui\u00e9n … la puerta del jard\u00edn abierta? (dejar)
\nI wonder who has left the garden gate open.<\/em><\/p>\n
