This is one of those essential Spanish verbs that you will find yourself using all the time. Let\u00b4s see if you remember: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What do we use rather than \u201cyo\u201d?<br \/>\nWhat do we use rather than \u201cnosotros\u201d?<br \/>\nWhat do we use rather than \u201ct\u00fa\u201d?<br \/>\nWhat do we use rather than \u201cellos\u201d?<br \/>\nWhat do we use rather than \u201custed\u201d?<br \/>\nWhat do we use rather than \u201cvosotros\u201d?<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Let\u00b4s see now if you know how to conjugate the verb Gustar. I will say a person and I would like you to say the right form of the verb. For example: If I say \u201ca ti\u201d you will have to say \u201cte gusta\u201d:<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nA nosotros<br \/>\nA ellos<br \/>\nA m\u00ed<br \/>\nA vosotros<br \/>\nA ella<br \/>\nA ustedes<br \/>\nA ti<br \/>\nA usted<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Now, please translate the following sentences using Gustar from Spanish to English:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Me gusta la cerveza.<br \/>\nA mi hermana no le gusta el pescado.<br \/>\nA Manuel y a Carlos les gusta jugar al f\u00fatbol<br \/>\nNo nos gustan las patatas fritas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Now more sentences using Gustar and this time I would like you to translate from English to Spanish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I don\u00b4t like going to the beach.<br \/>\nAna likes fruit.<br \/>\nWe don\u00b4t like dogs.<br \/>\nDo you like eating in a restaurant? (one person \/ friendly)<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Next, we will practice describing how much someone likes something. Please translate the following sentences from Spanish to English:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Me gusta mucho comprar ropa.<br \/>\nNo nos gusta nada ver la televisi\u00f3n.<br \/>\nA mi primo no le gusta demasiado leer.<br \/>\nA mis amigos les gusta bastante el vino tinto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Now from English to Spanish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We quite like chocolate.<br \/>\nMy daughter really likes milk.<br \/>\nI don\u00b4t like going to the cinema at all.<br \/>\n My brothers don\u00b4t like studying that much.<\/p>\n<p>This is all for today\u00b4s beginner Spanish practice lesson. <\/p>\n<p>I recommend you make sure that you are confident using the verb Gustar as we use it a lot in everyday conversation. Also, its structure is used with various other very common verbs, such as Interesar (To interest).
