Now from Spanish to English:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What is \u201cverano\u201d?<br \/>\nWhat is \u201cinvierno\u201d?<br \/>\nWhat is \u201cprimavera\u201d?<br \/>\nWhat is \u201coto\u00f1o\u201d?<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Let\u00b4s see if you understand these sentences in Spanish about the weather in different cities of Spain:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En Madrid hace mucho fr\u00edo en invierno y hace mucho calor en verano.<br \/>\nEn Alicante hace viento en este momento.<br \/>\nEn Bilbao llueve mucho en oto\u00f1o y en invierno.<br \/>\nEn Barcelona hace buen tiempo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Now I would like you to translate these sentences from English to Spanish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In London the weather is bad in the winter.<br \/>\nIn Paris it\u00b4s chilly today.<br \/>\nIn New York it snows in the winter.<br \/>\nHere it rains in autumm<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Now we will see if you remember these Spanish phrases related to the weather:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a1Qu\u00e9 fr\u00edo hace!<br \/>\nHace much\u00edsimo calor<br \/>\n\u00bfTienes calor?<br \/>\n\u00bfQu\u00e9 tiempo hace all\u00ed?<br \/>\nHace un d\u00eda bastante bueno<br \/>\nNo hace nada de fr\u00edo <\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Finally, try to say the following things in Spanish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a horrible day<br \/>\nIt\u00b4s always very hot here at this time of the year<br \/>\nI am so cold!<br \/>\nIt is a very bad day<br \/>\nWe are at five degrees below zero<\/p>\n<p>This is all for today. <\/p>\n<p>Talking about the weather is very handy when you are trying to make conversation. Everybody talks about the weather in every country so I recommend you practice this lesson a few times and use these sentences whenever you meet a Spanish speaker.
