Before an adjective (<em>lo + adjective<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo bueno de este trabajo es que se aprende mucho.<br \/>\n<em>The good thing about this job is that you learn a lot.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo peor de mi casa es el ba\u00f1o &#8211; muy peque\u00f1ito.<br \/>\n<em>The worst part of my house is the bathroom &#8211; it&#8217;s tiny.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Before an adjective showing intensity (<em>lo + adjective + que<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prueba y ver\u00e1s lo buena que est\u00e1 la comida.<br \/>\n<em>Taste it and you&#8217;ll see how good the food is.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todos comentan lo divertido que fue el viaje.<br \/>\n<em>Everybody talks about how much fun the trip was.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Before an intensity adverb (<em>lo + adverb + que<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hay que ver lo bien que este autor escribe.<br \/>\n<em>You have to see how well this author writes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No s\u00e9 c\u00f3mo consigue vivir con lo poco que gana.<br \/>\n<em>I don&#8217;t know how he manages to live with the little money he earns.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Before de when we refer to something specific (<em>lo + de<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo de Juan no lo comentes.<br \/>\n<em>Don\u00b4t talk about what happened to Juan.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo de ma\u00f1ana ya te lo contar\u00e9.<br \/>\n<em>I will tell you what happened in the morning very soon.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5. Before some sentences or phrases (<em>lo + que<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo que t\u00fa no sabes es que ella era casada.<br \/>\n<em>What you don&#8217;t know is that she was married.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Siempre hacemos lo que queremos.<br \/>\n<em>We always do what we want.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>6.
