En ayunas<\/strong> \u2013 1. fasting. 2. clueless, not knowing what&#8217;s happening<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tengo que hacerme los an\u00e1lisis de sangre <strong>en ayunas<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<em>I have to go run those blood tests <strong>in a fasting state<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estaba <strong>en ayunas<\/strong> de lo que pasaba en mi propia casa.<br \/>\n<em>I was <strong>clueless<\/strong> to what was happening in my own house.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. En el bote<\/strong> \u2013 &#8220;in the bag&#8221;, certain to happen<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La cita fue muy bien ayer, y creo que a este chico lo tengo <strong>en el bote<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<em>The date went great yesterday, and I think I&#8217;ve got this guy in the bag.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La posici\u00f3n la tengo <strong>en el bote<\/strong>, pues la entrevista me la llev\u00e9.<br \/>\n<em>I&#8217;ve certainly got the position <strong>in the bag<\/strong> because I nailed that interview.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. En vilo<\/strong> \u2013 up in the air, on tenterhooks; wondering about someone<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mi trabajo est\u00e1 <strong>en vilo<\/strong>, porque dicen que va a cerrar la empresa.<br \/>\n<em>My job is <strong>up in the air<\/strong> because they say the company&#8217;s going to close down.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Me has tenido <strong>en vilo<\/strong> todo el d\u00eda, sin saber nada de ti.<br \/>\n<em>You kept me <strong>wondering about you<\/strong> all day, you just went MIA.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">See you next time!
