I will give you a sentence in Spanish and I would like you to make another one trying to convince someone of something related to the sentence. For example, if I say \u201cMe gusta fumar\u201d you could say \u201cNo es que quiera decirte lo que tienes que hacer, pero fumar es malo para la salud\u201d:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hacer ejercicio es muy aburrido.<br \/>\nNo me gusta comer verduras.<br \/>\nNo quiero estudiar.<br \/>\nNo me gusta cocinar.<br \/>\nNo quiero llevar la crema de sol a la playa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Next, we will practice Spanish expressions which are used to explain the reason for something. Can you understand the following sentences?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Deja que te explique lo que vi ayer.<br \/>\nMe baso en hechos reales.<br \/>\nEstos son los pros y contras que he sopesado sobre comprar un coche nuevo.<br \/>\nVoy a exponerte una a una las razones por las que dej\u00e9 de tomar caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Now, we will practice common and useful Spanish phrases to explain that someone has convinced you of something. Please, translate the following sentences from English to Spanish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes, now I think about it, what you say is true<br \/>\nYes, I had forgotten about that<br \/>\nOK, I agree with you<br \/>\nYou have completely convinced me<br \/>\nYes, I didn\u00b4t think of that<br \/>\nSorry, I didn\u00b4t think of that<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Next, let\u00b4s practice some Spanish phrases to explain that something is wrong. I will say a few sentences in Spanish and I would like you to say that you don\u00b4t agree using the phrases you have learned:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ma\u00f1ana va a llover.<br \/>\nBeber mucha agua es malo para la salud.<br \/>\nLa geometr\u00eda estudia la Tierra.<br \/>\nLa Tierra es cuadrada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Finally, we will practice some Spanish phrases which are used to explain that something is right. Can you understand these sentences?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Has dado en el clavo.<br \/>\nMe temo que est\u00e1s en lo cierto.<br \/>\nLo que has dicho es indiscutible.<br \/>\nQu\u00e9 ojo cl\u00ednico tienes.<br \/>\nClaro hombre, eso es de caj\u00f3n.<br \/>\nTienes toda la raz\u00f3n del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Bueno, pues esto es todo.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you have found practicing these common and useful Spanish phrases and expressions interesting. Don\u00b4t be disappointed if you cannot remember them all right away. Have patience and try to use them little by little, here and there, when speaking with native speakers. You can even write them down on a piece of paper or notebook so you have them to hand when you are talking to somebody. It doesn\u2019t matter if you don\u00b4t use them perfectly the first few times.
