Oftentimes we find ourselves at a loss for words during a conversation. So today I’m going to show you some useful sentences to help you express this situation en espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n

A ver… – Let me see…
\nEs dif\u00edcil decirlo. – It’s hard to say.
\n\u00bfC\u00f3mo voy a explicarlo? – How can I explain it?
\nEs dif\u00edcil explicarlo. – It’s hard to explain.
\nPonte t\u00fa que… – Imagine that…
\nEs medio… – It’s kind of \/ sort of…
\nEs casi eso. – It’s something like that.
\nM\u00e1s o menos como… – Something like…
\nYo que s\u00e9… – I don’t know…
\nNo s\u00e9 bien como se dice en espa\u00f1ol. – I know how to say that in Spanish.
\nNo s\u00e9 como describir eso. – I don’t know how to describe it.
\nSe me fue la palabra… – What’s the word I’m looking for…
\nTengo la palabra en la punta de la lengua. – I have the word on the tip of my tongue.
\nEs una historia medio larga. – It’s kind of a long story.<\/p>\n

You can also be vague about time:<\/p>\n

Un rato. – A while.
\nMucho rato. – Quite a while.
\nUn ratito. – For some time.
\nYa hace alg\u00fan rato. – For some time now.
\nPor un largo rato. – (For) a long time.
\nHace mucho tiempo que… – It’s been a long time since…
\nEl otro d\u00eda. – The other day.
\nNo hace mucho tiempo… – Not too long ago…
\nHace algunos d\u00edas… – Some days ago.
\nRecientemente… – Recently…
\nM\u00e1s adelante. – Some time in the future.
\nA cualquier momento. – At any moment.
\nEstos d\u00edas. – These days.
\nUn d\u00eda de estos. – One of these days.
\nA cualquier hora. – Sometime.
\nAlrededor de… – Around…
\nA veces… – Sometimes…
\nTodo el tiempo. – All the time.<\/p>\n
