Ghosts stories and legends are told at night (read \u201cThe Spirits\u00b4Mountain\u201d, by Gustavo Adolfo Becquer <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/spanish\/a-ghost-story-for-a-spanish-all-eves-night-the-spiritsmountain-by-gustavo-adolfo-becquer\/\">here<\/a>), supernatural presences such as the blessed souls in purbagoty can be seen (<a title=\"Tradiciones espa\u00f1olas en el d\u00eda de Todos los Santos, y la creencia en las \u00c1nimas benditas.\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/spanish\/spanish-traditions-on-the-day-of-all-saints-and-the-belief-in-the-blessed-souls\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Tradiciones espa\u00f1olas en el d\u00eda de Todos los Santos, y la creencia en las \u00c1nimas benditas)<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/spanish\/spanish-traditions-in-all-hallows-eve-don-juan-tenorio\/\">Don Juan Tenorio<\/a>, the story of the immortal womanizer, is played in almost every city, and graveyards are filled with people who go to visit their dead relatives and bring them some flowers (click <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/spanish\/fiesta-de-todos-los-santos\/\">here <\/a>to read more about it).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">All these traditions offer a sober, even dark image of cemeteries all rituals related with the world of the dead. That\u2019s why I wanted to share with you a different perspective&#8230; Imagine a cemetery where (dead) people can\u2019t rest in peace because some of them love to play music, and do it every Sunday. Or where you can choose between having a laugh in your own mass grave and going for a stroll through the cemetery every Friday. This kind of graveyard is where Mecano\u2019s song, \u201cNo es serio este cementerio\u201d takes place. It\u2019s an old song, but still quite funny.
