Es una <strong>superproducci\u00f3n<\/strong> en la que George Lucas fue <strong>director<\/strong> y <strong>guionista<\/strong>. En esta pel\u00edcula de <strong>ciencia ficci\u00f3n<\/strong> aparece un joven Harrison Ford, como <strong>co-protagonista<\/strong> y el <strong>personaje principal<\/strong> es interpretado por Mark Hamill. Tuvo tanto <strong>\u00e9xito de taquilla<\/strong> que se produjeron dos <strong>secuelas<\/strong> en 1980 (<em>The Empire Strikes Back<\/em> o <em>El imperio contraataca<\/em>) y en 1983 (<em>Return of the Jedi<\/em> o <em>El regreso del Jedi<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>trama<\/strong> de la pel\u00edcula original es la historia de Luke Skywalker y su mentor Obi-wan-Kenobi, un caballero Jedi, que se unen a un piloto desfachatado, Han Solo, un wookie y dos androides para salvar al universo de la estaci\u00f3n de combate del Imperio, la Estrella de la Muerte. Al mismo tiempo, tienen que rescatar a la Princesa Leia de las manos del malvado Darth Vader.<\/p>\n<p>Al cabo de m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os, Lucas decidi\u00f3 volver a trabajar con esta historia y escribi\u00f3, produjo y dirigi\u00f3 tres <strong>precuelas, <\/strong>que cuentan los hechos previos a la primera pel\u00edcula de la <strong>serie<\/strong>, algo que la <strong>audiencia<\/strong> recibi\u00f3 con mucho entusiasmo.
