And we use <strong>una<\/strong> with feminine nouns: <strong>una chica <\/strong>(one girl)<strong>, treinta rosas<\/strong> (30 roses)\u2026<\/p>\n<p>When we use the number 100 in isolation we call it <strong>&#8220;cien&#8221;<\/strong> but when it is combined with other units or tens (from 101 to 199), then it canges to <strong>&#8220;ciento&#8221;<\/strong> as in <strong>\u201cciento uno\u201d <\/strong>(101).
