Ice-cream trucks that drive around on different weekdays depending on what area they are going to be selling in. The trucks don’t drive around in the city center mostly villages and smaller suburbs allowing people who don’t live in town to buy ice-cream when they want it (at least on the day one day a week when the ice-cream truck comes). The ice-cream trucks are completely blue and have the whole ice-cream menu printed on the back of the truck with prices and pictures. You can only buy packaged ice-cream, not freshly scoped into cons or anything. Along with its special and a bit different appearance it is very well known for its theme song. The theme song is supposed to alert people that the truck is coming to their area and that they should find their money and go out and buy some of its goods. The Swedish name for the ice-cream truck is Glassbilen.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1447" title="IMG_5338" alt="" width="224" height="300" / src="https://blogs.transparent.com/swedish/wp-content/uploads/sites/9/2010/07/IMG_5338-224x300.jpg">

(picture taken by Katja)

Ok people, whatever season you have in your country right now we’re still in summer in Sweden.
