NOT a fish served with flakes from the scalp, thankfully. In Swedish, <em>mj\u00e4ll<\/em> means both <em>dandruff<\/em> and <em>tender<\/em>. My boyfriend was also in for a surprise, when he Google translated my Swedish blog, where I had written: <em>Var p\u00e5 puben med min nya frilla<\/em> meaning <em>Was in<\/em> <em>the pub with my new haircut. <\/em>But the Swedish slang word for haircut, <em>frilla<\/em>, could also be an old fashion word for <em>mistress<\/em>. In other words, according to Google Translate I was in the pub having a pint\u00a0with my new mistress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:\">Also, there\u00a0are lots of English words that\u00a0mean something\u00a0completely different in Swedish\u00a0and\u00a0potentially can cause both confusion and amusement.
