Are you – like me – one of those people who get overly excited when Sweden or something Swedish is mentioned in movies or in TV-programmes? Well, then you must make sure to take a look at the collection of Sweden on the screen,\u00a0 “Let’s talk about Sweden”<\/strong>. It’s put together by the film fanatic Robin Nupponen and features clips from the TV-series Family Guy, from 90s comedies like Wayne\u2019s World and Austin Powers, from Woody Allen movies as well as TV series like Mad Men, Frasier and Friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the beginning I just wanted to use every single one, but I realized after a while that it would be impossible as there are so many mentions of Sweden out there. Just in the Simpson\u2019s Sweden is mentioned some thirty times,” Nupponen told The Local<\/a>.
\nRobin admits that most of the old stereotypical images of Sweden used in the movies aren’t exactly true as of today, but he definitely think that Sweden shall take it\u00a0 as a compliment. And as he rightfully points out – how often is Norway or Denmark mentioned in Hollywood?<\/p>\n
