The conversation goes very much by safe statements about the weather and the reply usually just being a repetition of what the first person said. You can use the exakt same phrase just exchanging the verb. Eg. from <em>tycker<\/em> to <em>hoppas<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00c5h vad jag l\u00e4ngtar till v\u00e5ren\/sommar<strong>en<\/strong>\u201d (&#8220;I&#8217;m really looking forward to summer now.&#8221;) Here we are talking about a specific summer\/spring so we use a particle for that. While if you are talking about summer in general as a season then we don\u2019t use the <strong>-en <\/strong>ending as in the following example.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVad _<strong>fint_<\/strong> det ska bli med v\u00e5r\/somm<strong>ar.<\/strong>\u201d (&#8220;It will be so nice when summer comes.&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully these phrases will help you to at least start up a conversation in Swedish.
