The museum offers various programs for families with children all year long and have small but very impressive aquarium downstairs. The museum is open every day 10-17 o&#8217;clock and Wednesday until 20.00 o&#8217;clock except Mondays. The single ticket is 60 SEK but it&#8217;s rather worth it to buy an annual museum ticket since you can enter several museums in Gothenburg with the same ticket but also because the exhibitions change several times a year. The other museums that you can enter with the annual ticket are: G\u00f6teborgs Konstmuseum Gothenburg Museum of Arts, Statsmuseum Museum of Gothenburg, R\u00f6hsska museum specialises in design, fashion and crafts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/swedish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/03\/aqua.jpg\" aria-label=\"Aqua 263x350\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8014 aligncenter\"  alt=\"\" width=\"263\" height=\"350\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/swedish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/03\/aqua-263x350.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/swedish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/03\/aqua-263x350.jpg 263w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/swedish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/03\/aqua.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 263px) 100vw, 263px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Maritime Museum provides information in Swedish, easy Swedish, Sign language, Arabic, English, Finnish, Jiddish, Me\u00e4nkieli, Sami and Romani languages. The last five languages are also minority languages in Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>The current exhibitions are highlighting the human connection to the sea in different ways. One of the most remarkable exhibitions right now is about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sjofartsmuseetakvariet.se\/en\/refugee-across-sea\">refugee across the sea<\/a> that can be found on the second floor. From the early times of Swedish emigration to the United States through the Holocaust of the IIWW and l the Vietnam War\u00a0 to today&#8217;s migration routes and reasons. It is a very complex and interesting exhibition with lot of antique objects\u00a0 and multimedia information with TV programs and interviews with survivors, coast guards and refugees.
