So, for today\u2019s blog, I\u2019ll dissect this song a little bit and have you do some listening. If hip-hop is not your favorite, don\u2019t worry, I\u2019ve picked a really approachable song from one of Sweden\u2019s most popular artists. Also a bonus, the music video was filmed with preschoolers and it\u2019s adorable. Trust me, you don\u2019t want to miss this.<\/span><\/p>\n

To start something new is a nice feeling. N<\/em><\/span>\u00e5got nytt, <\/span><\/i>or<\/span> “n\u00e5t nytt,” <\/span><\/i>as you’ll hear in the song’s intro means<\/span> “something new” in English. This song is all about putting life\u2019s stresses aside and enjoying that \u201cnew day feeling.\u201d Whether you\u2019re in over your head at work, or have a New Year\u2019s Eve hangover, never fear, it\u2019s a new day!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So who\u2019s Petter? In short, an award-winning rapper that\u2019s been on the scene for the last 20 years. He\u2019s collaborated with the biggest names in Swedish music and is an essential figure to know in modern Swedish music. Petter is a long-time friend of rapper Eye N’ I, another Stockholm rapper, with whom he collaborated on this song.<\/p>\n
