But for me, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nationaldagen<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is my cue that summer is in full swing. There\u2019s something about the first week of June that triggers a summer vacation feeling that I haven&#8217;t been able to shake, even into my adulthood. For this week\u2019s music blog, we\u2019ll skip the national anthem and head straight for summer tunes! I\u2019ll introduce you to a few of the Swedish classics and include a few of my favorite summer melodies, too!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each of the 7 songs below has a quick introduction, a YouTube link, and 2-3 &#8220;summery&#8221; vocabulary phrases to listen for. Enjoy, and don&#8217;t forget to tell me your favorite track in the comments below!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>1. \u201cSol,<em> vind och vatten\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201c<em>Sol, vind och vatten<\/em>\u201d (Sun, Wind, and Water) by Ted G\u00e4rdestad is a classic for a reason. In this particular video, Peps sings at <em>Alls\u00e5ng p\u00e5 Skansen<\/em> when Swedish comedian Robert Gustafsson makes a surprise appearance. It\u2019s about seizing the sunny days of summer because it\u2019s over before you know it! Ana Diaz is a favorite of mine and I\u2019ve written featured her song &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/swedish\/musik-blogg-everything-is-easier-in-the-summer\/\"><em>Allt \u00e4r l\u00e4ttare p\u00e5 sommarn<\/em><\/a>&#8221; (Everything is Easier in the Summer) with Parham on the <em>musikblogg<\/em> before.
