In this article I will show you how you can talk about the days, weeks, months, and years with respect to today.<\/p>\n

The basic literally translation for \u2018today\u2019 would be \u2018day this\u2019. The literally translation for \u2018this year\u2019 would be \u2018year this\u2019. The same would go for \u2018this month\u2019 and \u2018this week\u2019, \u2018month this\u2019 and \u2018week this\u2019 respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Just like in English, you cannot say \u2018next day\u2019 \u2013 we say \u2018tomorrow\u2019 and Thais do too. They also have an equivalent for \u2018yesterday\u2019. But unlike in English, Thais have a word for \u2018the day after tomorrow\u2019. Note: in the word for \u2018yesterday\u2019, do not confuse \u2018waan1\u2019 for \u2018wan1\u2019; the latter means \u2018day\u2019 but the first does not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
