And perhaps we were told that \u2018how\u2019 was also a question word, which was really just \u2018who\u2019 but with the \u2018w\u2019 on the other side of the word.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>But they forgot to tell us the <i>other<\/i> question words, such as \u2018yet\u2019, \u2018are\u2019, \u2018did\u2019, etc. For example:<\/p>\n<p>Have you learned them yet? Are you going to learn them? Did you learn it?<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the same in Thai. This lesson will be about the word \u0e22\u0e31\u0e07 yang<sup>M<\/sup> which means \u2018yet\u2019 or \u2018still\u2019. Just place it at the end of a sentence to make it a question. Here are two examples, first with a regular question word and then with \u2018yang\u2019:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Are you hungry?<\/p>\n<p>Hew<sup>R<\/sup> mai<sup>R<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>\u0e2b\u0e34\u0e27\u0e44\u0e2b\u0e21?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Are you hungry, yet?<\/p>\n<p>Hew<sup>R<\/sup> yang<sup>M<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>\u0e2b\u0e34\u0e27\u0e22\u0e31\u0e07?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With Thai questions, you answer them by repeating\/rewording the question as your response. But you normally never repeat the question word itself.
