In many ways, February 14th is the same in the Kingdom of Smiles as it is in the West &#8211; guys will buy <strong>roses<\/strong> (\u0e01\u0e38\u0e2b\u0e25\u0e32\u0e1a &#8211; g\u00f9 l\u00e0ap), a box of<strong> chocolate<\/strong> (\u0e0a\u0e47\u0e2d\u0e01\u0e42\u0e01\u0e41\u0e25\u0e15 &#8211; ch\u00f3k goh l\u00e2et), or a <strong>teddy bear<\/strong> (\u0e2b\u0e21\u0e35\u0e40\u0e17\u0e47\u0e14\u0e14\u0e35\u0e49 &#8211; m\u0115e-t\u00e9t-d\u00eae) and couples will go out on a romantic\u00a0<strong>date<\/strong> (\u0e40\u0e14\u0e17 &#8211;\u00a0d\u00e0yt). Of course, there are some unique twists on this holiday in Thailand. In Bangkok, many couples will tie the knot in the\u00a0<strong>Bang Rak <\/strong>(\u0e1a\u0e32\u0e07\u0e23\u0e31\u0e01)<b>\u00a0<\/b>area since the name means &#8220;love district.&#8221; Some lucky couples will even win a &#8220;golden marriage certificate.&#8221;
