So far we&#8217;ve covered <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/thai\/thai-fruit-vocabulary\/\">fruits<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/thai\/thai-vegetable-vocaulary\/\">vegetables<\/a>, so go back and study those in case you missed them. For those who aren&#8217;t vegetarians, you&#8217;ll proabbly need a few more words to get all your shopping done. Note that the word for meat is also added for <strong>mutton<\/strong>\u00a0(<span class=\"s1\">\u0e40\u0e19\u0e37\u0e49\u0e2d\u0e41\u0e01\u0e30<\/span> &#8211; n\u00e9ua g\u00e0e), but not for <strong>chicken<\/strong> (<span class=\"s1\">\u0e44\u0e01\u0e48<\/span> &#8211; g\u00e0i),\u00a0<strong>pork<\/strong>\u00a0(<span class=\"s1\">\u0e2b\u0e21\u0e39<\/span> &#8211; m\u014fo) or <strong>duck<\/strong> (<span class=\"s1\">\u0e40\u0e1b\u0e47\u0e14<\/span> &#8211; bp\u00e8t). You can add it if you want, but it really isn&#8217;t necessary. Speaking of mutton, it&#8217;s something you won&#8217;t often find in Thai cuisine, but you can learn the word anyways in case you want to eat at Indian restaurants and still order in Thai!
