Spend a day or two exploring the ruins at <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/thai\/the-ancient-city-of-sukhothai\/\">Sukhothai<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/thai\/the-ancient-capital-of-ayutthaya\/\">Ayutthaya<\/a>, both of which are easily visited by train or bus. You can take a detour from Bangkok to visit Khao Yai, stop at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/thai\/khao-sok\/\">Khao Sok<\/a> on your way between the coasts, or have a real Robinson Crusoe adventure at <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/thai\/ko-tarutao-national-park\/\">Ko Tarutao<\/a>.
