As many of you probably already know, the Commonwealth Games are going to take place from the third to the 14^th of October. The Games will take place in India, and everyone is buzzing with excitement over it. The Commonwealth Games is a sporting event where the participating nations are nations that form the Commonwealth.

The nations that form the Commonwealth are countries that were formerly part of the British Empire. India happens to be one of those nations, and as a result, India will be participating and hosting the Commonwealth Games. To celebrate the games, an official Commonwealth song has been made. It’s called जियो उठो बढ़ो जीतो.

The opening ceremony of the Games was spectacular. I am proud of India and all the hard work and coordination that went into the opening ceremony. What a great opportunity it will be for India to show the world the beauty, color and festivity of India.
