Então, o título do post parece esquisito mas no inglês real, do dia a dia, geralmente omitimos algumas palavras sem prejudicar o sentido da frase. Perceba nos exemplos abaixo que suprimimos verbos auxiliares, pronomes, etc.

Have you ever been to Paris? (Já esteve em Paris?)

Just been to the doctor’s. Got to eat more vegetables.
I’ve just been to the doctor’s. I’ve got to eat more vegetables. (Acabei de chegar do médico. Tenho que comer mais verduras.)

Love the necklace, hate the bracelet.
I love the necklace, I hate the bracelet. (Adorei o colar, odiei a pulseira.)

First on the right, isn’t it?
It’s the first on the right, isn’t it? (É a primeira à direita, não é?)

Not exactly what I’d do, but…
It’s not exactly what I’d do, but… (Não é exatamente o que eu faria, mas…)
