Last night was not very good. I went to hang out with my buddy Mark at this bar and he told me there was this girl checking me out, that I should go say hello. I told him that the last time I said hello to a girl in a place like this she thought I was coming on to her and totally blew me off before I had the chance to introduce myself.

That doesn’t surprise me because I usually strike out with my stupid pick-up likes. Well, maybe she was just playing hard to get. We also ran into a girl Mark had met some time ago. Some mutual friends of their tried to fix them up because, you know, they thought they’d hit it off.

Unfortunately she was on the rebound and he didn’t want to get involved so Mark tried to let her down easy. As it turns out, she didn’t take it very well and started screaming at him, in front of everybody.
