Hello, there! How’ve you been?

Nosso post hoje é curtinho e traz uma lista do grau de três adjetivos irregulares: good, bad e far. Na nossa lista teremos primeiro o adjetivo, depois o comparativo de superioridade e por fim o superlativo de superioridade.

01. good (bom) – better than (melhor que) – the best (o melhor)

He’s a good teacher. – Ele é um bom professor.
The English teacher is better than the math teacher. – O professor de inglês é melhor do que o professor de matemática.
He’s the best English teacher I’ve ever had. – Ele é o melhor professor de inglês que eu já tive.

02. bad (ruim) – worse than (pior que) – the worst (o pior)

She’s a bad teacher. – Ela é uma professora ruim.
The French teacher is worse than the English teacher. – O professor de francês é pior do que o professor de inglês.
She’s the worst teacher I’ve ever had. – Ela é a pior professora que eu já tive.

03. far (longe) – farther / further than (mais longe que) – the farthest / furthest (o mais longe)

Your neighborhood is very far. – Seu bairro é muito longe.
Your neighborhood is farther / further than mine. – Seu bairro é mais longe do que o meu.
Your neighborhood is the farthest / furthest. – Seu bairro é o mais longe.

Further também quer dizer adicional, extra.
