People of Japanese descent have been contributing to society in many positive ways. Here are some people of Japanese descent that are famous :

Kristi Yamaguchi is the great grandchildren of Japanese immigrants in the U.S. Her claim to fame came as a world class figure skater. Her achievements showed younger girls that they could be just as good at sports as the boys.

Devon Aoki is a supermodel. Her dad is Japanese and that’s where she gets her Japanese lineage. Devon’s appeal as a mixed Japanese model has proved that beauty is diverse.

Francis Fukuyama is a prominent philosopher and author. He is best known for writing the book, The End of History and the Last Man and received his Ph.D. from Harvard.

Apolo Anton Ono is an eight time medalist in speed skating. Ono’s father is Japanese, which makes Ono Japanese American.

George Takei is a Japanese American whose family was interned in relocation camps in WWII. Takei is best known for his role as Sulu in Star Trek, but he is also a gay rights activist as well.

    I was living in japan for 26 years,actually my life is still around japan because Im a translator for japanese companies here in Mexico.

    My daughter was driming since childhood to be a model,now she is doing her first steps in a modeling world as an actress too,she is living in Tokyo I don´t know what happend in the future just praying the best for her.

    My older daugther is working as a translator too for japanese companies and Im sure that she is a great translator.

    I love japan is my second home and mother tong.
