Christina Aguilera en español Posted by Adir on Mar 22, 2010 in Spanish Culture
¡Hola, mi gente! ¿Cómo les va todo? |
Hello, everybody! How’s it going? We all like to learn using music, right? Singer Christina Aguilera’s mother is American and her dad is Ecuatorian and in her 2000 album, Mi Reflejo (My Reflection) she pays hommage to her origins and it was in the first place in Latin Billboard lists. Here is the song Por Siempre Tú, the English version for I Turn to You, with the lyrics in the video so you all can sing and practice your Spanish. |

When I’m about to fall I know your love will rescue me again I will conquer fear As long as I know that you feel Inside the same as I do In pain or not you knew how to love me And what I am is because of you, without a doubt You’re my protection, my support There’s not one day You’re my protection, my support My guardian will be the shelter of your love |

Christina Howard:
Does she sing with an American accent or she sounds very convincing in it?? I’ve ready she can’t speak Spanish fluently.
davidcarmona:
@Christina Howard You´re right, Christina. She grew up using American English, which is the language she feels more comfortable with, although she had a great deal of exposure to Spanish.
Daine Cawthron:
Excellent news regarding Christina Aguilera’s world concerts coming to Britain. I hope Leona Lewis will perform with christina at the concert events over here.
Eric Dimarzio:
She’s my idol! I love her! I love how she can be hot as hell and at the same time can still be very responsible and complete. I love Christina Aguilera!
