Today I am going to start a series of posts with colloquial Spanish sentences. These are the sentences you will find in real life and remember, colloquial is not slang, so it’s safe to use the sentences below in your everyday conversations, ok?

¡Aquí lo tienes! – Here you go!
Las cosas se están arreglando. – Things are falling into place.
Por ahora no hubo problemas. – So far, so good.
Así es la vida. – That’s life.
¿Al contado o con tarjeta? – Cash or charge?
¡Te lo mereces! – It serves you right!
¿Cara o seca? – Heads or tails?
¿Cómo dijiste? – Come again?
¿Cómo es posible? – How come? How’s that possible?
Con el pasar del tiempo… – As time goes by…
¡Contrólate! – Pull yourself together!
¡No te entrometas! – Mind your own business!
Ya me di cuenta. – You can tell!
