Hey, there!

Today is a holiday here in Brazil, the Proclamation of the Republic, and a lot of people are going to enjoy the 4-day weekend, because most of them took tomorrow off too. So I was thinking here the types of activities people like to do during these long holidays – you guys are going to have a long weekend next week too, right?

Here are my suggestions of cool activities for the long weekend, en español, por supuesto.

• Ir a un partido de tu deporte favorito [go to your favorite sports match/game]
• Jugar con tus hijos [play with your kids]
• Ejercitarse [work out, do exercises]
• Hacer trabajo voluntario [do volunteer work]
• Cuidar de su jardín [work in your garden]
• Escuchar música [listen to music]
• Cocinar [cook]
• Aprender un idioma [learn a language]
• Jugar juegos de computadora [play computer games]
• Ir a la playa [go to the beach]
• Nadar [swim]
• Ir de picnic [have a picnic]
