En stor stark i solnedgången… Posted by jennie on Feb 9, 2010 in Swedish Language, Vocabulary
Just got back from a four days holiday in the north, and blimey it sure IS freezing and packed with snow up there – even in the southern parts. Never in my life have I experienced anything like that back home. Cars driving on the frozen ocean, snowmen that last for a month and a half, polar bears on the streets…
Anyway. Enough about the big freeze, but it is most definitely the hottest topic up there at the moment and make sure to study Gabriel’s winter vocab if you’re planning to go anywhere near Sweden the next couple of months.
But since I’m back in the UK, with frozen limbs and desperate for sun, light and warmth, I decided to dream away and share 20 useful summer words with you. Enjoy!
