Znamy moc tajemną

Duchów i upiorów

Mamy wielką władzę

Nie lubimy sporów

Więc nie wzbraniaj się głośno

Nie zamykaj drzwi

Jeśli dasz cukierka

Nie będziemy się mścić.

We know the power of the secret

Ghosts and ghouls

We have great power

We do not like disputes

So not refuse too loud

Do not close the door

If you give candy

We will not retaliate

Będziemy Was straszyć

Duchami i zmorami.

Bośmy łącznikami z tamtymi stworami.

Jeśli więc nie chcecie złych strachów w swoim domu,

Musicie nas przekupić, kilkoma cukierkami!

We will keep scaring you

with ghosts and nightmares.

For we are connectors with those creatures.

So if you do not want bad Fears in your home,

You have to bribe us with some candy!

W noc Halloween strzeż się

i amulet swój miej.

Jeśli ducha zobaczysz, to czym prędzej wiej!

I dynię pocałuj, bo dynia to znak,

Że Ty z duchami jesteś za pan brat!

On the night of Halloween beware

and keep your amulet.

If you see the spirit, ran away as soon as possible!

And kiss the pumpkin, because pumpkin is a sign

That you are friends with the spirits!

Do następnego razu… (Till next time…)

I wanted to make sure that they can communicate with their Polish relatives in our native language. Teaching them Polish since they were born was the best thing I could have given them! I have been writing about learning Polish language and culture for Transparent Language’s Polish Blog since 2010.
