Manías [Obsessions]

La noche huele a ausencia [The night smells of absence]
La casa está muy fría [The house is very cold]
Un mal presentimiento me dobla las rodillas [A bad feeling makes me bend my knees]
Te busco en el espacio [I look for you in the space]
De mi angustiada prisa [Of my distressed hurry]
Y sólo encuentro rasgos de tu indudable huída [And I only find traces of your unquestionable escape]

¿A dónde vas? [Where are you going?]
¿Por qué te vas? [Why are you going?]
¿Por qué dejaste un gesto de tí por cada esquina? [Why did you leave a part of you in every corner?]

Si te llevaste tanto [If you took so much]
En solamente un día [In only one day]
No te costaba nada [It didn’t cost you anything]
Cargar con tus manías [To take care of your obsessions]
Se te olvidó el aroma [You forgot the smell]
Y el eco de tu risa [And the echo of your laugh]
Se te olvidó llevarme [You forgot to take me]
Pedazo de mi vida [Piece of my life]

Vagando con tu foto [Wandering with your picture]
En la melancolía [in my melancholia]
Después de largas horas [After long hours]
Por fin, se asoma el día [At last the day has dawned]
Pero mi fe se pierde [But my faith gets lost]
Buscando en mi agonía [Searching in my anguish]
Una señal más clara para entender la vida [A clear sign to understand]

¿A dónde vas?…

Si te llevaste tanto…
