Yangshuo (阳朔) – Part One – Impression Liu San Jie (印象刘三姐) Posted by on Sep 29, 2011 in Culture

Located in Southern China’s Guanxi Province (广西省), Yangshuo is a beautiful town that attracts millions of tourists every year. Despite this huge tourism boom, Yangshuo remains a picturesque place, with amazing scenery provided by the Li River and limestone mountains. Every night, an incredible performance of song and lights takes place on the river, called Liu San Jie, in the world’s largest outdoor theater.

因为下雨很大,所以我们错过了我们的火车 –  yīn wèi xià yǔ hěn dà, suǒ yǐ wǒ men cuò guò le wǒ men de huǒ chē
Because of the big rain, so we missed our train.

下一天,我们买了机票 – xià yī tiān, wǒ men mǎi le jī piào
The next day, we bought plane tickets.

We’re looking at the map at the map and drinking beer.

我们打台球,但是打得不好 – Wǒ men dǎ tái qiú, dàn shì dǎ dé bù hǎo
We play billiards, but not well.

印象刘三姐 – Yìn xiàng liú sān jiě

每天晚上,很多人来这里,看这个大型山水实景演出 –  měi tiān wǎn shàng, hěn duō rén lái zhè lǐ, kàn zhè ge dà xíng shān shuǐ shí jǐng yǎn chū
Every night, a lot of people come here to see the large-scale landscape performance.

明天欢迎你们到我家喝酒吃鱼 – míng tiān huān yíng nǐ men dào wǒ jiā hē jiǔ chī yú.
Tomorrow you’re all welcome to my house, to drink and eat fish.
